Start here — by why you came
I built this hub so you can answer your question and not have to go back to Google for the next one. Most people arrive for one of these reasons — find yours and jump straight in:
- "I want an old version of a game I own." The core of the whole site. Start with the universal downgrade workflow, then find your title in the game-specific guides — I've tested rollbacks for 27 of them.
- "Is this safe? Is it a virus?" Fair question to ask before you type a password. The honest, source-traced answer is on the safety page, and the antivirus-false-positive angle on is it a virus.
- "I'm getting an error." The troubleshooting database decodes the common ones — the 401 / "no manifest request code", login failures, and the rest — by symptom.
- "How do I install and run it?" Two-minute download & quickstart, or the full per-platform installation docs.
- "I want to understand it before I trust it." The how-it-works page explains Steam's depot model — once it clicks, every command stops looking like a magic incantation.
- "I don't actually own the game." Then I'll be straight with you about what this can and can't do before you waste time.
Everything here is written and tested by one maintainer — me, JaGoTu — and I say so on the about page, including exactly how I verify what's on it.
